Furniture Sales Specialist (Inside Sales)

This is a Contract position in Gatineau, QC posted October 7, 2021.

Source Office Furnishings is seeking applications from qualified individuals for the position of Furniture Sales Specialist that will be based at our Abbotsford store, but will also be required to work at our Langley location.

This a full-time position, five (5) days a week; three days at our Abbotsford location and two days at our Langley location and must be able to work on Saturdays.

This opportunity will have you engaging with all walk-in, phone-in and internet customers in our expansive well laid out showrooms and educating them on the wide range of office furnishings we have available.

You’ll propose solutions, develop layout plans using our in-house CAD department to optimize the customer’s office space, and provide quotes.

• Sell the entire range of Source products through a consultative approach in our vast showroom environment
• Assist all customers, whether walk-in, phone -in or via email, determining their needs and proposing appropriate solutions
• Must be able to process orders and assist customers with loading office furniture when necessary.

• Create and present a proposed layout of the customer’s space reflecting product based on specific measurements using our in-house CAD department to provide a 2D and/or 3D visual
• Provide product quotes as required Administrative Duties:
• Complete all work orders, invoices, quotes and all other necessary paperwork related to each sale Qualifications:
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and strong ability to multi-task
• Ability to build rapport with a wide range of customers with open communication
• Strong MS Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel)
• 2-3 years of retail experience; office furniture related experience an asset
• Proven sales track record and ability to follow up with customer by phone and email
• Must be willing and able to lift 50 lbs
