Opportunity DetailsLeverageTek is actively seeking a Senior Scum Master, Enterprise Information Security (EIS) Services for a 1-Year contract with its Ottawa-based customer.

**This work will be performed remotely until further notice QualificationsMinimum 3 years as a dedicated Scrum Master or Agile Coach on a software development team, information security or Scrum team experience with DevSecOps practices or 5+ years practicing Agile, including Scrum and/or Kanban, preferred working in information security or DevSecOps teams2+ as a coach/transformation advisor at an enterprise level, including coaching senior leadersExpert level knowledge of Agile practices, acting as an advisor and coach of teams and leadersProven experience planning, monitoring and reporting status on projects (using hybrid approaches: traditional and iterative) AssetsFacilitation of use of Business and Opportunity CanvasesKnowledge of Design Thinking techniquesScrum Alliance or SAFe certificationProficient in French is considered an asset ResponsibilitiesSupports Cybersecurity business lead to develop long-term roadmaps which are congruent with the Agile approach by engaging in problem solving sessions with Sponsors and Initiative leadsFocus on Cybersecurity Sprint Readiness supports the Business Leads and the team members to maintain a healthy backlog for the current and upcoming sprints; guides teams to commit to work within the boundaries of the team’s historical velocity (balance capacity with demand).Supporting the EIS workstream Leads to define outcomes, complete sprint planning, in driving uniform initiatives and individual-level learning and performance managementEnsure a focus on business value delivery by through coaching of leaders, initiative owners, project managers, and SMEs within EISResponsible to create a robust Cybersecurity Program integration plan through engagement with team members and stakeholders on external dependencies –cybersecurity workstreams and EIS operational initiativesDependency Management – works with Product Owners and Scrum Masters outside EIS team to identify and monitor dependenciesLeads the EIS squads/scrum team to become a self-organized, cross-functional and highly efficient team that delivers high-quality product.Look for ways to strengthen teams’ understanding and application of Agile / Scrum / Kanban concepts and principles and create a sense of continuous learning in the team transformation.Facilitates team ceremonies, including sprint planning, demos, backlog refinement, team operations daily stand-ups and uses Kanban / Scrum board to visualize the work to manage impediments, WIP, and flow of work through the system.Innovation and continuous Improvement Support Partners with Product Owners and other team members to drive improvement using a hypothesis, experimentation, measure, learn approach and ensures teams are actively seeking out opportunities for improvement through retrospectives.
