Position Title: Client Sales Advisor

As a Client Sales Advisor you will consistently attract new business, meet or exceed sales targets and provide excellent client care. You will play a fundamental role in supporting and developing agency/call centre operations through prospecting, client contacts and sales activities, with a focus on Auto and Property insurance.

What you’re responsible for:

  • Selling auto and property insurance to clients by identifying insurance needs, proactively building a network that cultivates sales opportunities and responding to cross-channel leads in a timely fashion.
  • Applying appropriate underwriting guidelines within current binding authority levels, providing quotes and upselling and cross-selling other product lines through referrals.
  • Contributing to the overall sales growth plan by achieving individual sales, quality and productive goals.
  • Providing exceptional client service through responding to client inquiries and concerns, resolving complaints and escalating matters appropriately.
  • Maintaining client retention by supporting referrals and effectively communicating, listening and negotiating with clients who inquire about cancellation.

What to expect:

  • This role involves direct contact with clients and/or service providers in their environment.
  • You are required to have a valid driver’s license and insurance.
  • Repetitive, transactional tasks where accuracy is essential.
  • Extended work hours, including evenings, will be required.

  • You have strong knowledge of underwriting practises and home and auto insurance products.

You will support the organization’s mission through responding to client inquiries and concerns and contribute to the success of the team by achieving client service and quality goals.

What you’re responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional client service through responding to client inquiries and concerns via phone call or written correspondence and addressing and escalating matters appropriately.
  • Processing client payments, obtaining client training documentation, completing endorsements and checking status to ensure completion.
  • Maintaining client retention by proactively contacting clients to review coverage and policy renewal, supporting referrals and effectively communicating, listening and negotiating with clients who inquire about cancellation.
  • Applying appropriate underwriting guidelines within current binding authority levels, upselling and cross-selling other product lines through referrals and contributing to the overall sales growth plan.

What to expect:

  • This role operates in a contact centre environment where a high level of audio and visual concentration is required for extended periods of time.
  • Repetitive, transactional tasks where accuracy is essential.
  • Rotational shifts outside of standard business hours, Monday through Saturday.
  • You will be subject to a Criminal Record and Consumer History background check as a condition of employment, in the event you are the successful candidate.
