Innovation Technology Analyst CorporateWork Location: Gatineau, QCReporting to the Director, Innovation and Technology Strategy, the selected candidate will play a key role in establishing and evolving Innovation Technology practice in a large, dynamic and growing organization.

Focusing on Business Value with Technology as an enabler, the Innovation Technology Analyst proactively and holistically leads and supports innovation activities that strategically guide business and operating models, people, processes and technology.

He/she helps prepare the business to become resilient and ready for strategic growth through mainstream technologies adoption leveraging proven, mature and high ROI industry leading practices and technologies.He/she works closely with strategy and business leaders to identify and progress innovative initiatives leveraging IT and Operational Technology (OT).

Innovation Technology Analyst creates deliverables for business leaders that support technology investments in response to disruptive forces and toward achieving targeted business outcomes.

He/she helps strategy and business leaders understand, apply, monetize and operationalize existing, new, and emerging technologies to transform and optimize business and operating models.Responsibilities:Together with other team members, enable business outcomes across Operating Businesses by introducing new innovative technologies and practices; Align innovation investments with corporate strategy, focusing on operational excellence and digital transformation; Increase agility through vendor and partner innovation capabilities; Act as the liaison between BRP’s Corporate and Operational Business units, technology teams and vendors; Proactively communicate and collaborate with decision-makers, system owners, and end users to analyze information needs and functional requirements; Develop and present detailed business cases to business and IT/OT management; Develop and present innovation concepts to the business; Develop Cost Analysis for Innovative Initiatives options; Research, assess and validate various technology solutions from various providers in order to document gap analysis with recommendations; Develop strong business relationships; Keep abreast ofdisruptive business and technology changes; Research, evaluate and enable new technologies and ideas to determine their potential to grow our various businesses; Create executive level reports that are consumable by non-IT resources; Work on any enterprise-scale deliverables identified by Innovation architects.Requirements:Ability to determine innovation opportunities and take calculated risks where we can help the business grow; Ability to workeffectively in ambiguous or rapidly changing situations; ability to manage time effectively; Uses the language of business leaders and joins the conversation that’s taking place; Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technologies and see how they can support business needs; leverages industry research and identify recommendations; Ability to establish and maintain a high level of trust and confidence; Strong ability to exchange information from our various Operating Businesses, document and share with the others to promote best practices and known issues; Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally and affectively with executives, managers, and subject matter experts; Strong ability to organize and drive discussions amongst various groups; Strong attention to detail with the ability to work in a conscientious, consistent and thorough manner; Highly innovative with aptitude for foresight, and design and systems thinking; Motivated by long-term results and achieving targeted business outcomes; Need to be curious about how the business works and how technology can help; Highly collaborative and supportive of business and of its ideals and strategies; Organizationally savvy comfortable, experienced and accomplished at working with business executives; Remains unbiased — specific technology and vendor-neutral — more interested in results than personal preferences; Knowledge around SaaS and Cloud platforms is considered an asset; Knowledge around Data systems and cybersecurity is an asset; Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft 365); Entrepreneurship attitude with ability to multi-task.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology or related field; Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in business analysis, architecture with demonstration of innovation and change management capacity; English essential.
