Account Security Officer

This is a Contract position in Gatineau, QC posted February 12, 2020.

Account Security Officer Career in Ottawa / Gatineau, Ontario Canada’s Premier IT, Finance & Accounting and Executive & Management Consulting Staffing Agency Eagle is currently seeking an Account Security Officer .

This is a permanent position scheduled to start in February.

Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for: Leading Security operational governance activities; All contract security deliverables; Seeking to identify additional enterprise Security Services revenue; Ensuring delivery excellence in security operations (Ensuring avoidance of non-performance / non-compliance contractual penalties); Maintaining an account security plan; Managing and reports security incidents; Ensuring Audit preparation, facilitation and remediation; Managing Security Risk and Exception to standards management (SA&A process); Ensuring knowledge and implementation of security fundamentals, policies and standards (regulatory and contractual); Escalating and resolving Security Issues; and, Coordinating delivery of Security Metrics and Reporting in support of contractual commitment.

Skills and Qualifications The qualified candidate must have: Bachelor or master degree in Computer Science, Computer Studies, Information Security (or equivalent combination of education and experience); Minimum three (3) years’ experience working in a risk management, audit, security or technical delivery role; Knowledge of Canadian Government security compliance, auditing and regulations; Good understanding of Assurance Practices and Risk Management, with hands on experience; Experience of security processes and standards; Knowledge of security audit and accreditation processes; Ability to adapt to new security regimes; Exposure to audit and compliance programs; Excellent and effective communication skills; Sound judgment and integrity as well as being self-motivated and tenacious; Ability to influence Delivery personnel in the execution of security and compliance requirements; Excellent knowledge of SA and amp; Excellent knowledge of Canadian Industrial Security Program; Ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret SIGINT personnel security clearance; Strong knowledge of IT security architecture, security systems and associated security controls; Experience in IT services outsourcing business or five plus (5) years in industry vertical (Government or Banking industry preferred) (an asset); CISSP certification, CISM/CISA or CRISC (an asset); Experience working in a Top-Secret SIGINT environment (an asset); Experience of presenting at client meetings (an asset); and, Experience of translating contractual security requirements to deliverables (an asset).
