Look no further than Colliers Project Leaders.Responsibilities What success looks like: Completing tasks in compliance with A/P policy, procedures and schedules Correctly reviewing and verifying invoices, employee expense claims, and backup documents and investigating discrepancies Prepare invoice coding and doing data entry in a timely manner Follow up on invoice documentation including backup and approval for all payments Managing and reviewing payment runs on a timely basis Maintaining updated vendor files Responding to vendor and employee requests for A/P related information Facilitating funds transfer and wire payments Qualifications What you bring: A university degree or college diploma in finance or accounting, or an equivalent combination of academic and practical experience A minimum of one to two years’ experience directly related to accounts payable The ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure and in a fast-paced environment A positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with other accounting team members A basic understanding of the accounting cycle, specifically the accounts payable cycle General knowledge of accounting principals, procedures and practices Project Accounting knowledge would be an asset Strong data entry ability and word processing skills, with a keen eye for detail Numeracy skills and the ability to solve problems A high level of proficiency using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) An aptitude for learning to use financial and accounting software applications Bonus Skills And Experience Excellent communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with team members, other staff and external vendors A willingness to help others and take on assigned responsibilities Self-motivated with a proactive approach to completing tasks and resolving issues Good judgement, tact and diplomacy OptionsApply for this job online ApplyShareRefer this job to a friend ReferSorry the Share function is not working properly at this moment.
