This is a Contract position in Gatineau, QC posted August 3, 2022.

Adecco is currently recruiting for a Database Assistant for a 3-month contract with a Crown Corporation client. The ideal candidate must hold a valid Reliability security clearance. The opportunity will be Onsite in Gatineau.
The client is seeking a temporary Database Assistant to assist with the management of donation processing and administrative support for their fundraising programs.
The Database Assistant will have the following responsibilities:
• Opening, sorting and accurately processing donations.
• Assembling and mailing tax receipts and other donor communications in accordance with established timelines. Numerical accuracy is required.
• Assisting with database tasks (Raiser’s Edge) as determined by the Database Coordinator following in-house data rules and requirements
• Entering, sorting and manipulating data in Excel and Word.
• Supporting team members with administrative tasks as required.
• Adhering to Museum confidentiality and privacy guidelines.
The Database Assistant must meet the following mandatory requirements:
• Excellent organizational skills and meticulous.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize work and ensure attention to detail.
• Strong sense of collaboration.
• Donor-centered focus and understanding.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in an administrative role.
• Advanced use of word processing software (Word), spreadsheet software (Excel) and presentations software (PowerPoint).
• Data entry and numerical accuracy
• Working knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, specifically Raiser’s Edge (an asset).
• Experience with gift entry, acknowledgement processes, donor stewardship and tax receipting (an asset).
• Basic principles of fundraising and marketing (an asset).
• Bilingual in both official Languages.
