Senior Business Consultant
– Financial Specialization 6027737 Gatineau Contract 6 months Our Gatineau Government client has a high-priority initiative preparing their Financial reporting in their newly formed team.

Their mandate seeks a Senior Management Consultant (Finance specialist) to assist in reviewing and ensuring robust financial reporting and business process are in balance for their division.

Roles and Responsibilities The ideal profile suited to this current short term 6 months mandate would be: A senior management consultant with strong financial foundations and have similarly worked in support of high-profile project values ($10mil) where their focus was on the financial work plan, it’s review (either mid-phase or close out) for a public sector team.

Working with Cost-Centre leads and management to review their current financial procedures and processes and make recommendations for project activity Bringing consensus to the existing Financial work plan at this time of review and able to enhance and put into play an appropriate changes to benefit the project Qualifications and Experience 7 years experience in similar public sector project teams as the Financial Business Consultant for the project office Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, with advanced skills in V-Lookups and pivot tables to illustrate required management reporting Completed college/university education VALID Secret clearance Fluency in both English/French (CCC/CCC) Education and Certifications Minimum education required: University Degree or College Diploma Preferred field of study: Finance We are an inclusive employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
