Duties Coordinates accounting, budget monitoring and reporting services, information and advice; provides general administrative services in multiple functional areas, for a medium park/site operation.

Forillon, YOUR land’s end Intent of the process Term position from May 1st, 2020 to March 31, 2021 (possibility of full-time and/or part-time), with possibility of extension and/or permanent seasonal nomination.

This process may be used to create a list of qualified candidates to staff similar positions with various tenures, security levels or linguistic profiles in the Gaspesie field unit.

Applicants must list both of these factors in their cover letter, and then write one or two paragraphs for each demonstrating how they meet these factors by providing concrete examples.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications) EDUCATION:
• Post-secondary diploma in accounting, administration, finance, or other acceptable discipline ; or an acceptable combination of education, training and experience relevant to the position.

EXPERIENCE:
• Significant and recent experience in accounting operations, financial planning and the establishment of financial reports;
• Significant and recent experience in developing and applying financial procedures and controls;
• Significant and recent experience in providing support and advices on applying and interpreting financial guidelines and financial management related policies, laws, or regulations.

Significant and recent experience means at least twelve (12) months’ experience acquired within the past tree (3) years.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATION
– EXPERIENCE (ASSET):
• Experience in supervising a team.

• Experience in using the SAP system or another integrated financial management or a salary management system and its modules.

The following will be applied / assessed at a later date (essential for the job) ABILITIES:
• Ability to construe laws, policies and guidelines regarding finance managing and forward the information to the right persons;
• Ability to organize, define, and analyze financial data, perform variances analysis and develop recommendations;
• Ability to manage multiples finance related tasks with conflicting priorities;
• Ability to supervise staff;
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing;
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally.

PERSONAL SUITABILITY:

• Attention to detail.
