Admissions Adviser (Sales)

Reports to:

Position Summary:

This is a Full-Time Sales position for those who excel in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment. Responsible for ensuring that students are properly interviewed and screened to meet the school’s admissions criteria.

Essential Functions:

  • Maintains communication via telephone, correspondence, and/or electronic mail with prospective students through all stages of the recruitment and admission process.
  • Generates referrals from the existing prospect database.
  • Provides information on programs and eligibility requirements; reviews applications and related documentation for compliance, provides assistance to students and parents in completion of admissions applications.
  • Provides timely and accurate information to international students, parents, and host families on the schools programs and procedures and assists in locating student’s residency if requested.
  • Responds to concerns and questions posed by students, parents, institutional staff and industry members via incoming calls, email, fax, and mail.
  • Collects basic data relating to student admissions and cooperatively work with the Administrative Department to transition applicant files between departments and ensure file integrity once participants begin their programs.
  • Participates in trade shows, conferences and other outreach opportunities that involve promoting ATC and self-lead generation.
  • Performs miscellaneous job- related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a sales-driven environment
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
  • Clerical, word processing and database management skills
  • Adept in use of MS Office 2000 or later, Word, Excel, Internet and email

Education/Work Experience:

  • High school diploma or College diploma; at least 2 years of sales experience.
  • Motivated individuals or recent graduates without experience will be considered.

Compensation:

  • Base salary plus commissions.
