The assistant store manager is responsible for supporting the store manager in his / her management tasks and replacing the manager during his / her absence and holidays. In addition, he / she is responsible for managing the store’s operational activities by assuming responsibilities related to sales, customer service, inventory and personnel management. The person will be expected to provide exemplary customer service, achieve sales objectives, supervise and mentor the work team and ensure that the business image meets company standards. RESPONSIBILITIES: With the help of the manager he / she is responsible for: Observe and enforce all store regulations and company policies and procedures and ensure that employees comply with them. Ensure that the store, marketing, customer service and commercial image meet company standards. Plan, organize, direct and control all store operations and operations. Be responsible for getting the most out of the store staff effectively, and taking care of scheduling, supervision, task assignment and staff motivation. Ensure that marketing follows the instructions provided by the Marketing Department in order to optimize sales and profits. Customer Relations: A) Greet clients and provide them with personal advice on their needs. Handle customer complaints. B) Ensure that all staff members offer assistance and prompt and courteous service to clients. Make sure you get the most out of store staff by effectively administering training and performance monitoring.
