As an employee in the Accounting Services Group at Deloitte, you will:

  • Carry out tasks required to complete compilation and review engagements
  • Prepare financial statements
  • Complete bank and other account reconciliations
  • Prepare corporate and/or personal income tax returns and other tax compliance slips
  • Identify technical issues and bring them to the attention of engagement leader
  • Draft letters of recommendations
  • May carry out bookkeeping activities
  • Work with accounting software and provide support to client
  • Respond to client queries
  • Complete other related duties as required

Successful candidates will have the following attributes:

  • Working towards an accounting diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Bilingualism is an asset
